The role
The TUPE Business Partner will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day performance and transactional service delivery, and operational responsibilities of the TUPE team. This role will play a key part in providing expert legal advice and support across the TUPE team, with particular focus on bespoke measures letters, contesting the transfer of LTS and RTW & DBS compliance. This role will also ensure that Company policies and procedures are adhered to, as well as ensuring accurate data and compliance processes are followed within the team.
You will provide effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff in line with policy. Displaying great customer service, objectivity, confidentiality and professionalism at all times. You will also be the HR Support for the TUPE Team with employee life cycle transactional processes. They will excel in giving great customer service internally and externally and will be able to work on your own initiative. This is a fast-paced environment, with high volumes of TUPE activity spanning across the year.
Key responsibilities
Build working relationships with Sales & Operations team members
Obtain contract win projections
On award of contracts, liaise with incoming company to obtain ELI data, review and challenge any data disputes
Review and analyse ELI data, employee contracts and terms of employment to identify any discrepancies or potential issues, and advise HR Service Centre Manager on appropriate actions.
On award of contracts, administer measure letters, sending to transferring employees
Provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding the legal requirements, process, and implications of TUPE.
Attend consultation meetings as and when required
Provide guidance to both management and employees regarding the TUPE process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
Stay up-to-date with changes in TUPE legislation, guidelines, and best practices, and provide recommendations to enhance our practices and procedures.
Supervise the operation of the TUPE team, ensuring that the team receive regular coaching, support and maintains up-to-date knowledge of TUPE
Requirements
Previous experience managing TUPE In and TUPE Out Administration
